NAFC/FC/AFC CEBOURN'S SHAKE RATTLE N ROLL
"Roller" has been a very special dog from the first time he started his training for the field as a puppy. He has out standing bird sense and extreme style on his birds. His willingness to please has made him a joy to train since he was a very young dog. Roller finish his Field Championship just before his 3rd birthday with a 5 point major. Shortly after finishing he went to the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America National Amateur Field Trial and placed 4th out of an entry of more than 85 dogs. He finished his Amateur Field Championship the follow Spring, and he hasn't looked back since. He is entered in 10 to 12 field trails on an annual basis and is a consistent winner or placer in both Limited and Amateur Limited stakes. In 2000 he received an Honorable Mention at the GSPCA Amateur Gun Dog Championship and in 2001 was the National Amateur Gun Dog Champion. In the off season he enjoys having Charlie on foot for an afternoon of pheasant hunting. Roller's sire, DUAL /AFC CEBOURN'S ERICK OF HUSTLEBERG, JH, was a champion on the bench at 18 months of age. He started competing for his Junior Hunter at 3 and at 3 1/2 he started training for Field Trial competition. He went to his first Field Trial at the age of 4 years and became a Field Champion at the age of 6. He finished is Amateur Field title at 7 years of age. He continued to be very competitive at Field Trials until he was retired at 10 years of age. He made the second series the GSPCA National Field Trial twice. "Erick" was a very special dog all around and his pedigree was the same. Sired by the top producer, DUAL CH. HILLHAVEN'S HUSTLER, and his dam was WENDY VON ENZSTRAND, who was sired by Dual Ch. Esser's Duke VD Wildburg, a member of the GSPCA Hall of Fame. Roller's dam, CEBOURN'S BOOT SCOOT N BOOGIE, competed as a puppy and derby dog. After her first litter, we soon realized that her value was better put to use as a producer than in the field. Boogie's sire, FC/AFC PIPELINE'S BOBTAILED BANDIT, was an outstanding field competitor. He won or was runner-up in several National German Shorthaired Pointer (American Field) events in his career and was winner of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America's National Gun Dog Championship in 1987. Boogie's dam, FC/AFC PW'S ABBY LANE, was an outstanding competitor in the Midwest. She had a field pedigree that is one of the best. Sired by GSPCA Hall of Famer and Top Producer, FC. DIXIELAND RUSTY, her dam was FC/AFC SUNDANCE GYPSY LEE, is also in the GSPCA Hall of Fame, was a Top Producer and a GSPC National All Age Champion. As you can see, Roller, has some of the best of the breed in his pedigree. It's no wonder he is the special dog that he is. He produces puppies with outstanding bird sense, desire and trainability. His Stud Fee is $500.00, with a guarantee of 2 live puppies at 6 weeks of age. Bitches may come for a visit for live cover or shipping of semen is available. Roller is OFA Good and has been DNA tested.
