Wirehaired Dachshunds

This is a picture of the Wirehaired Dachshunds that we are presently showing. This picture was taken at the Spring Badgerland Dachshund Specialty. They are from two different litters of the same breeding. The sire is Ch. Waldmeer's Ragtyme Piano Man and the dam is Ch. Waldmeer's Ragtyme Blossom. They are as follows from left to right:

Ch. Ragtyme Water Lily, who finished her championship at the 2005 Badgerland Specialty. She is a multi-Variety winner and at this 2006 Specialty was Best of Variety Wirehair and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed.

CH. Ragtyme Leader of the Band has been a surprise to us all. Owned by Lisa Rosenblum of Janesville, WI, "Bill" is not only a very good Wirehair, but he is 100% showman. Ragtyme Leader of the Band became a champion on Saturday June 10, 2006. At the 2006 Badgerland Specialty, he was not only Best of Variety Wirehair, but Best of Breed in Sweepstakes. All of Bill's wins have been from the puppy class.

CH. Ragtyme Tiger Lily is a litter mate to Water Lily. She started her show career by winning her first championship points at the 2004 Badgerland Specialty. She is owned by Ed and Deb Normandeau of Mt. Horeb, WI. At the present time she has 13 points and 2 major wins. Ragtyme Tiger Lily became a champion on Saturday, July 8th, 2006. She shares her home with several American Cocker Spaniel champions and her full (younger) sister Brinkley. Brinkley will start her show career in the fall.

CH. Ragtyme A Way About Her is a littermate to Bill and has shown us a lot of promise as a show dog. She received her first points at the Badgerland Specialty in 2006 and has several wins for the Bred by Exhibitor class. Ragtyme A Way About Her finished her championship at the Kenosha Kennel Club on Sept. 9th, 2006. We are planning to breed her to CH. Pruitts Buckeye Bentley.

Ragtyme Just One Look is also a littermate of Bill's. She is the pride and joy of granddaughter Bayly. She has some nice wins and is pointed.

New Addition: Ragtyme Dare To Be Different (CH. Pruitt's Buckley Bentley x CH. Ragtyme Waterlily). She will start her show career in July.
